Megan, who released the first episode of her Hottie Bootcamp series on YouTube on Jan. 17, has been candid with her fans about just how much she’s had to switch up her routine in order to see changes in her physique and get healthier—and why she’s decided to share her transformation with the public.
“I wanted to take y’all on a little health journey with me because I feel like y’all will hold me accountable,” Megan explained in her first Hottie Bootcamp video. One of the biggest ways Megan Thee Stallion changed up her routine to promote weight loss was simple: just drinking more water.
“One thing that has helped me a lot is drinking a gallon of water a day,” she captioned an Instagram photo showing off her progress between weeks one and three, encouraging others to tag her in their own progress photos.

On Jan. 21, Megan announced that the next step on her weight loss journey was purging her kitchen of the junk food that had been standing between her and her weight loss goals.

After purging her fridge, freezer, and pantry of everything from potato chips to cornbread mix, Megan’s trainer, Timothy Boutte, re-stocked her kitchen with healthy essentials to help her keep to her goals. Among his top picks? Fresh fruit, avocados, raw almonds, almond milk, and unsalted seasonings like garlic, paprika, onion powder, and chili powder.

To ensure that she’s toning up her body while losing weight, Megan has been sticking to a strict workout routine with trainer Tim. Among the pair’s go-to exercises? Weight training, dancing, and stair climber workouts. However, with her busy schedule, she admitted that she’d had to miss a couple of workouts—but she wasn’t about to let that throw her off her game completely.
