If you love seasonal flavors like pumpkin spice, gingerbread and peppermint bark AND enjoy a good protein bar this post has the review list you need. These treats are only available in the Fall so make sure you grab the ones you’d like to try now. And I’m sharing which ones I think you can skip.

Best Fall Protein Bars Review Pumpkin Spice

This Fall Protein Bar Review is listed in order of best to skip it – based on my taste preferences. But I know we all like different things. If you’ve tried these or other bars, chime in on your thoughts.

1.  There’s a tie for first place! The RX Protein Bars have 2 seasonal flavors Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice. I love that these bars are packed with protein from egg whites and have a short ingredients list. I’m a fan of their chocolate flavor that’s part of their regular line up of flavors too.

RX Protein bar Gingerbread review

RX Bar Protein Bar – Gingerbread

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 210 // Fat: 9g // Protein: 12g

Love the ginger spice flavor of this one.

RX protein bar Pumpkin Spice Limited Edition Review

RX Bar Protein Bar – Pumpkin Spice

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 210 // Fat: 8g // Protein: 12g

Try or Skip?

Try it if you haven’t tried RX bars before – they’re good.

Skip it if you like B.S.

Spiced Pumpkin Pie Clif Bar Review

2. Clif Bar – Spiced Pumpkin Pie

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 250 // Fat: 4.5g // Protein: 9g

Pro tip – put the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Clif Bar in the microwave for a few seconds to get it a lil warm and it will take this to the next level (careful the frosting will be HOT). This bar might be the only one I’d consider as a treat or dessert swap because of the dense cookie texture.

Try or Skip?

Try it if you like a chewy, dense cake-like bar.

If your mortal enemy is named Clif, skip it.

Kind Bar Caramel Apple Seasonal flavor review

3. Kind – Caramel Almond Pumpkin Spice

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 190 // Fat: 16g // Protein: 5g

I like all the flavors of Kind Bars that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried most of them) and this one is on point as expected. It’s good and nutty, not too sweet and has subtle notes of pumpkin spice. This is a good pick if you prefer a dash of flavor.

Try or Skip?

Try it if you like nuts or nutty granola bars.

Skip if it you’re allergic to nuts or kindness.

4. Quest Protein Bar – Peppermint Bark

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 190 // Fat: 7g // Protein: 21g

Please note – I don’t like white chocolate so the protein bars at the bottom of the list are at a big disadvantage. The Quest Peppermint Bar protein bar is covered in white chocolate so I cut the bar in half to taste the middle instead of the ends that would have more coating. I really love that it’s a layered bar with a chocolate bar that’s more dense than the top. I think if you like Quest Bars and white chocolate or peppermint bark this bar might be for you.

Try or Skip?

Try it if you like white chocolate.

Skip it if you don’t like white chocolate (unless you’re doing a blog post review of all the seasonal protein bars and must take one for the team).

Tip: Luna Bar Peppermint Bark flavor

The Luna Bar Peppermint Bark flavor is available year round so I didn’t include it in this list. BUT if I did include it here it would have won 1st place. That’s an example of a delicious, chocolate based protein bar. I highly recommend it!

Final note – I’m obsessed with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Bars. Obsessed. I’ve tried most of their other flavors in the past and keep going back to the chocolate based ones. So I knew these might not be for me but I wanted to try them for this review.

If you like white chocolate or your pumpkin spice treats on the sweeter side you might love these bars.

5. There’s a tie for 5th place with the two Pumpkin Spice bars at about the same level.

Quest Pumpkin Pie bar review

Quest Protein Bar – Pumpkin Pie

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 190 // Fat: 8g // Protein: 21g

think thin protein bar Pumpkin Pie flavor review

Think Protein Bar – Pumpkin Spice

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 150 // Fat: 5g // Protein: 10g

The Quest Protein Bar is a lot bigger and offers a more satisfying snack that will keep ya full. The Think Protein Bar is a smaller lighter option in a similar flavor. Both are sweet pumpkin spiced protein bar options.

Try or Skip?

Try the Quest version if you like Big Bars and you cannot lie.

Skip it if your other brothers can’t deny.

Where do you get them?

All these bars were purchased at my local grocery store (Ralph’s or Sprouts) and Target (the Quest Bars are at Target sold in a box, not individually).
